Frequently Asked Questions

COVID-19

Your safety, comfort, and enjoyment are our top priority. We continue to take the following steps to ensure a safe and pleasant stay for our guests:

  • Our glamping pods undergo a thorough cleaning and sanitising process between each booking.

  • We provide anti-bacterial wipes in each pod for your added convenience and peace of mind.

ABOUT YOUR BOOKING

We’ve tried to make everything around booking your stay with us as simple as possible. Here are a few things you might like to know about booking with us.

  • You can check in to your pod from 3pm, and check out by 10am.

  • All bookings are a two night minimum stay.

  • Our pods have 2-3 steps leading up to them. Please bear this in mind if making bookings for wheelchair users.

  • Group bookings are welcome, but these will need to be processed as separate bookings per pod. Unfortunately we’re unable to accept bookings from stag and hen parties.

  • You are welcome to order food deliveries to your pod, but you are ultimately responsible for the collection of your food. You can get the details on where to order to on our Contact page. Please ensure that you put all of your rubbish in the bins provided.

A FEW RULES

We want everyone to enjoy their time here at Wighill Park. Here are a few things which we’ll need you to be aware of to ensure that everyone can enjoy their stay with us.

  • All of our pods are fully secure, and you will manage your own access during your stay. Please note that regrettably we cannot be held responsible for your loss or damage to your personal items during your stay.

  • Wighill Park is set in a peaceful corner of an active farm. In the interests of residents, fellow guests and the farm animals, please limit your noise outside and switch off any music outdoors from 9.30pm. Please also show respect to your glamping neighbours.

  • Your pod is situated on the edge of ancient woodland – please dispose of your rubbish in the bins provided. If you need rubbish taking away or extra bin bags, just let us know.

  • You must not smoke or vape (use an eCigarette) in your pod. You’re welcome to smoke outside, but please make sure you fully extinguish and put your cigarette butts in a bin to avoid these getting into the fields with our livestock.

  • We’ll provide your fire pit and BBQ – you must not light any other fires anywhere else in Wighill Park or the surrounding area. This includes bringing your own disposable, charcoal or gas BBQ. You’re responsible for your fire pit during your stay, so please ensure you keep it safe and act responsibly at all times.

  • Please make sure you close all gates behind you.

  • Chinese Lanterns and fireworks are strictly forbidden as they pose a fire hazard and can scare our animals.

  • We are unable to accept bookings from stag and hen parties.

THE FARM & ANIMALS

Wighill Park is based in the heart of an active farm. With that in mind, there are a few things you need to know, especially if you’re bringing your dog along with you.

  • Please keep your dog on a lead.

  • Please clean up after your dog and dispose of waste responsibly.

  • Please take particular care that your dog doesn't scare sheep and lambs, or wander where it might disturb birds that nest on the ground and other wildlife.

  • Please don’t feed our animals – as much as they might try to convince you!

AVAILABLE IN YOUR POD

We take great pride in kitting out your pod with everything we think you might need to have a great time here. Learn a bit more about what’s included (and what you can add on) here.

  • Our pods have electricity and running water.

  • We provide your fresh linen and towels with your booking.

  • We provide unlimited logs for your fire pit.

  • Our medium and large pod kitchens include a hob and a fridge. Our small pods have a microwave and fridge.
